BeatDrops lets you record your music to an audio file. The output format and recording device can vary depending on your device/platform and settings. You can download BeatDrops Beat Maker or learn more about it here
Android
Your beat is recorded as mp3 or you can save it as a ringtone which you can then select in your phones ringtone sound settings. The sound is recorded in realtime using your phones built in microphone so it will record any background noise. Choose a quiet room before starting to record. This can be useful if you want to record freestyle rap or singing on top of the beat playing.
iPhone / iPad
You can record your beat to an .aac file which can then be saved to your iOS device with a name and location you select. On iOS you can opt to simply share the file instead of saving it. But dont forget it you choose to share the recording then the local file will be deleted. So the best approach is to first save the recording then share the saved file.

Windows
On Windows desktop you can record your music as a .wav file. These files are larger but give a better sound quality as it is not compressed like mp3. You can select where to save the .wav recorded audio file and also the name of the file. You can then convert this to mp3 or any format using an audio converter file.
On Windows if you have a microphone attached to the PC / laptop you can also choose to record mic input with the stereo mix. You can do this via File Menu -> Prefs -> Enable Microphone Recording
When you are recording on Windows especially if you enable microphone recording, you should experiment with the microphone and PC volumes so the recorded audio has the desired sound and volume.
